Maybe I just really want to write for this man already or maybe I am reaching, but hear me out when I say I pair you with Tighnari!

the archives are quieter; he doesn't hum to himself anymore as he organizes statements or cheerily greet people as they walk by. just stares at them as they walked, eyes piercing and... were they always that wide? that intense? he walked quieter now too, sometimes seeming to just appear out of nowhere, suddenly too scared and weary to let himself take up so much space. his coworkers are hesitant around him, not knowing what happened but able to tell that something is now so deeply wrong and broken about him.

he would do his best to avoid gertrude, straight up refusing to be around her for a while. why would he, especially once he finds out she can't fire him? eventually gertrude decides it would be easier to just find assistance elsewhere, and when gerard finally sees that michael fellow he heard whispers about hes sure he's an avatar of the spiral or stranger or something. i mean, how could the almost disturbingly pretty man that everyone does everything in their power not to acknowledge be anything else? with the brightest and coldest eyes he'd seen, tall and thin and spindly limbs that still moved with such caution and purpose, his face always in the same bleak and far off expression... there was no way michael was completely human.

when gerard would finally think to approach him he expects to see more telltale signs of someone claimed by the powers, and keeps talking to him and trying to 'catch' him on something to prove it to gertrude (who told him not to interact with michael in the first place). he hangs around the archives and library with him and michael just... let's him. doesn't interact back, doesn't speak, doesn't even look him in the eyes. just sits. as time goes on gerry would get more and more frustrated and wild in his efforts, trying to lure / goad him into using whatever powers he thinks he has, but michael never does.

eventually he gets fed up and tries to compell michael, and finally the man would make eye contact with him, those sharp and cold blue eyes making gerry freeze. michael would tell him in no uncertain terms to never try that shit again, and in an instant gerard realizes just how wrong he was about him.

im finally getting the ball rolling and starting the long (and fucking annoying) process of getting my name legally changed!! the state im in has a pretty detailed and somewhat tedious court process, as well as a decent amount of fees. to help try to raise money for it i have now opened a kofi!! im working on getting it set up to be open for small art and writing commissions/requests, so if anyone is interested or just wants to help out it would literally mean the world to me!!

your highness, I know he is not even released yet but I must pair you with the harbinger Pantalone!

Not only do I just headcannon as this man so incredibly extra but also he has a refined sense of taste for theatre and fashion. With his position as treasurer he probably has quite the accumulation of personal wealth, so he simply just has a taste for the finer things in life and a specific preference for those two in particular. Pantalone just seems like the kind of man who would develop very refined but intense passions. He is also just a real perfectionist and admires when people can meet his oh-so high standards and that can bleed into affection if given time to connect. I feel he would openly compliment your style for it's cute but comfortable nature, even ask for the influences before he just chats with you long enough to realize he would very much like to speak with you again very soon. Very meet-cute despite his position as a future villain in the game but I just think he is a real gentleman like that.

Also, with that affinity for the theatre I mentioned? Yeah, that includes things such as dance, and he would love to see you preform or simply take you to see a show. Dates with Pantalone are elaborate and almost an event with how much he has planned, being spoiled would be standard when it came to going out on dates with him. Though that is mostly just because when he is not taking you out to see the latest ballet performance, helping get you a new outfit perfectly tailored to your taste, or taking you to the finest restaurants Schenznya he is, a very busy man.
