Both recently widowed and having remained close over the years no one thought twice about how much time they spent alone. It hadn't been easy to bring peace to their sons, but eventually it was met and Aegon was just happy he did not have to be king. The betrothal of Helaena and Jace was finalized and now she was looking to find wives for her sons as they had some time before Luc would need one.

.•:•. Iffeclease was a spiritual man cherished by many, loved by one. The lover of Iffeclease is a celestial named Athenäs. Iffeclease brought her comfort and joy when she was between battles instructed by her deity. She helped create a temple that Iffeclease served under learning stone carving to do so. Iffeclease was like her Mithril in a cavern of stone. They would go on picnics and walks in the forest. But over many years Iffeclease grew old. Athenäs loving all the same requested a break to watch over her lover. But she was denied such. She had to worry in fear as she couldn’t arrive to her lover and sadly he perished unknowing to her lovers worries and her heart broken at her lovers loss.

She.. Widowed, was eventually able to visit her lover Iffeclease’s grave. She decided to abandon her duties as a celestial. She went into solitude at the temple she helped create. There Athenäs found her tools, suddenly awestruck with an idea. She will make a golem in likeness to Iffeclease and bind her lovers soul to the golem so they may live together for an eternity.

Athenäs determined in her love began to carve the stone. It took her long years and many renditions of the form. One of those years her connection to the divine energy was severed. Now cut off from her source of life she was scared but still worked and prepared the materials for the spells.

Years turned to decades and her memories began to be lost, though she carried on. She knew her goal. She finally after 78 long years was able to get the spell and components correct. Athenäs began her life long ritual to extract her lovers soul from the ether and bind it to the golem. She succeeded 78 long years but she succeeded. She ran to her lover… but her didn’t remember her, didn’t know her, didn’t know anyone or anything. So much time has gone by that his soul was born a knew. She was heartbroken once again.

Nonetheless Athenäs began to care for the nearly born golem child and taught it about the world sheltering him in the process. With her Iffeclease learned about the world and the magic surrounding it. Over 3 years he learned how to survive in this world and how to care for his form. But sadly the Planetar was dying and unable to continue for her creation.

Iffeclease left alone began to start gem jewelry making to past the time. Creating wondrous trinkets and art. But he was alone never seen by the outside ever wondering, ever innocent. .•:•.

Henry sat at his desk in his study, hunched over some papers of affairs of state. He had been holding up in his study for hours now, although it was more by choice. Here in the one room that seemed to be his own, he could take a break at least from part of his kingly duties. At least he could look over the papers about laws, grain, and taxes in peace without his mother always looking over his shoulder. He was sure she meant well, the Lady Margaret always wanted him on the throne and he sat on it now in large part to her. But he did not know his mother, not really, and he felt estranged from her. That and the fact that Margaret seemed to want to secure power and Henry understood that, but she seemed to want to secure that power at any cost and Henry wanted to be a good king and to rule over a secure kingdom.

Perhaps that was why he did not head her council and had begun to head the council of his wife Elizabeth of York more and more. Although the two did not get along, Henry did understand that she herself understood the English people more than others of his counselors.

Two years. It had been two years since he had seen Steve Rogers. They hadn’t left things very well between them at all. In fact, the last time he’d physically seen him, they’d tried to kill one another all over Bucky Barnes. Even when he’d gotten involved with Steve, he had known deep down that Bucky would come first, and so he really wasn’t sure why he had been that hurt or surprised when this became reality. No one knew the truth about their relationship. He hadn’t told anyone either. It was easier to let them think that he had just lost a friend and teammate in the process.

Still, he wasn’t the same anymore, and how could he be? The kid was gone. Half of the population was gone. Just dusted into nothing. He hadn’t been enough to stop Thanos. None of them had been enough. He’d still be stuck up there in space. But by someone’s hand he was on steady ground.

He just wished he wasn’t sitting in this stupid restaurant. He’d bought the damn place after Steve had left with Bucky. It was their place. Where they always met and had dinner. Drank a lot. Even if alcohol didn’t have any lasting effect on Steve. Some part of him had just needed to have it. He’s not sure if he’s lost his mind or not when he looks up from their familiar table and finds him standing there. It’s him. Steve. But he’s got a beard and his hair is longer.

“I don’t think that I’ll ever see myself as perfect.” Probably because he knew there was always work to be done on himself, in society, and in life in general. But the fact that she thought of him that way did make him smile just a bit. “You know, I’ve been a lot happier lately and I think we both know that’s because of you.”
