Have you every trained fasted? Or intermittent fasted? But what is fasting? Fasting is the willful refraining from eating, drinking, acts, deeds, or all or the previous for a given period of time. I personally last to do what is called intermittent fasting in which I fast for 16 hrs and have an 8 hour eating window for my food . I do this about 2 to 3 days a week. Today was the first time I've ever done a complete fasted workout. (No food, no liquids) Studies show that working out fasted will increase more fat burning throughout the body. Studies also show that working out while fasting is good for hormone optimization. Working out fasted will also help deplete your glycogen stores. The best time in my opinion to workout fasted is early in the morning. Has anyone else every workout/trained fasted or intermittent fasted themselves?
