YEAH, mushrooms arent as extreme as spinach for shrinkage but it does happen - you have to cook the water out of the 'shroom slices too or they wont start browning, theyll still be cooked but theyll just kind of be hot and wet, so not as tasty as they could be...
Also did you know, white/button mushrooms, brown/cremini and portabella mushrooms are all the same species just at different life stages? they have different names on them sometimes but basically this is the grocery store mushroom species. Thanks for listening to my mushtalk
