In ESO, my partner, @elistixwarriorx and I were questing in Greenshade, when I happened upon a Khajiit named Cold-Eyes outside the Khajiiti inn that needed my help. Casually leanining back, and flipping a coin, much the same as the RP emote, the Khajiit explained he was after a Bosmer named Manthir who owed a debt to the "Fat Cat" mob boss. Which of course, I found the playful nickname to be hilarious.
Anyway, it gets even more funny. I jogged over in my stylish leathers, to Manthir's house. How creepy it must be to have stranger know where to find you so easily. (Thanks quest markers). Manthir explains he can't, and that he only has enough to feed himself because a lady named Farwen swiped his money from him. That damn swindling Bosmer! Usually it's the Khajiit doing that, here have a collar and chain, pretty bosmer. Food and water over there . *Pat pat.*
You're given the option to intimidate him for the money, or to help him out. He explains the Right of Theft in Bosmeri traditions, but I choose to help anyway. Right of Theft: The thief can demand something in return for the stolen good(s).
And of course Farwen demands marriage. She swindled Manthir to get him to marry him! Thank you intern of Bethesda for inputting the crazy lady. This has been quite humorous.
So Manthir agrees to the terms, and I went back to Farwen after completing it, and she says, "Thank you for helping Manthir realize his love for me."
LOL. That's just great. Poor Manthir. What a humorous side quest.
Meme time! I totally mixed my OCs and some canon characters together. XD

I just couldn’t fit Neloth in there, sorry Neloth!Â
Made a quick OC out of the Altmer from my previous doodle comic. XD Their name is Farwen. They're awkward, but nice. They just wanna belong somewhere.

If that sounds like a made up name, that's cuz it is. I used a fantasy name generator to come up with something no one would ever attach to the real me. Why? Well, you see I am an elder millennial, meaning I remember the early days of the world wide web. Those were different times, the age of dialup and of anonymity. I don’t miss the dialup and waiting hours to download everything sucked, but the unknown was kinda nice. Now it seems everyone’s grandma is social networking and sticking their noise into Everyone’s business. In the old days we didn’t have to worry about Uncle Bob’s political opinions. We suffered through that awkward family dinner once or twice a year and lived our lives in blissful nonBobness the rest of the time. No one had to be friends with their boss or that family friend that you have to be nice to even though the thought of them makes you cringe. You didn’t have to watch your langue or omit anything to keep the peace in your RL circles. Honestly, I could go on for hours about all the annoying and obnoxious crap you didn’t have to deal with and how freeing being able to be whatever kind of broken freaky weirdo nerd you wanted to be was. And trust me, it was Beautiful! But I’ll not take up that much time. What I will say is I’ve had my fill of the FaceSpace and MyBook type “communities”, I want that freedom I fond as a teen, that ability to be myself without hesitation or fear of repercussions, I Need a place to address the world as my true self, whether the world pays attention or not, and if by my real name or something from a pretty crappy generator.Â

I am equally hurt by this, otherwise I wouldn’t defend it. So why don’t you follow your own advice? In my opinion, Florence created a work of art, her video is surreal and reflects who she is. I am entitled to have an opinion, however wrong that opinion is. I was using the “n-word” just because she did. I wouldn’t use it to insult someone, because I don’t think someone’s belonging to a certain race is an insult. While it first started with me defending Florence, it continued with me being insulted for being white. And ignorant. And racist, of course, because, come on, I must be racist for saying that video isn’t. In my opinion, what you do is just as wrong as what I do. Your arguments are just as wrong. In fact, your “solution” is for me to shut up because, again, I’m white and ignorant and racist. So, thanks but, no, thanks.
you cannot possibly be equally hurt. you're not the victim of racism no matter how much you claim that someone talking bad about white people hurts you. I have white privilege too so forget that bit, our perspectives are the same (and yet here I am and there you are...)Â No, opinions are all good and well until they become bigotry and that's when people need to step in. Because if nobody calls people out on it then the world is never going to change and people are going to be oppressed and hurt forever.Â
I should really hope that that music video doesn't really reflect her as a person because INTENT IS NOT MAGIC, it doesn't matter if she or the people that made the video meant for it to be racist it is, it is extremely fucking racist.
NO, okay no. My arguments are not as wrong as yours, I am not in the wrong, in fact, at all because I am calling you out on racism and you are defending racism. Racism is bad and evil and should not be something to defend even if the racism in question was perpetrated by someone you love and admire. I loved Florence too, okay, and I am able to see how fucking horrible that video is and it really sucks. Feeling like you can't be a fan of someone you really adored! Again, try to open your mind comprehend the words people are saying to you instead of just being defensive. It's extremely important for people who don't understand to try, OKAY??
You are racist, if for no reason OTHER THAN CALLING MY FRIEND AN UNEDUCATED MONKEY. I'D LIKE YOU TO FUCKING APOLOGIZE because even if you try to pull out your magic intent it's still deeply sickening!!
p.s. I say don't use the n-word because it is a disgusting slur and even if it's not in the context of trying to hurt someone's damn feelings it's gonna make you look real bad when you call a WOC a monkey and are defending racism !!!!!!!!!!!!
I love "an indefinite compilation of people who have my heart". I also love most of the people featured. I'm thinking about doing something similar for my tumblr. I hope you don't mind.
I’m glad you like it! :) And no, of course I don’t mind if you do something similar - feel free! I’m definitely not the first person to do it, and I won’t be the last!
