So for the next few posts I’m going to pretend that no one has heard about us and I’m going to redo our game pitch. So if you’ve been following us this entire time, please excuse the repetition.
Pumpkin Days is a traditional farming dating rpg. We started development back in 2014, and after some twists and turns we are finally on the Steam Store as ‘coming soon’. We hope to release an open Beta this year. So get ready!
Pumpkin Days has all of the traditional activities you do in farming RPGs; farming, fishing, mining, bug catching, etc. However, here is a brief overview of some things that make us different from other games in the same genre.
We did a lot of of research to expand upon all the things found in farming RPGs. So we have over 80 crops that can be grown, over 90 different kinds of fish, over 90 different types of ores, over 60 different types of flowers, 200+ different recipes and the list goes on. All these are implemented already in the game and will be available on launch.
Something refreshing is when you create your character you will not be asked to choose a gender. You can use our body sliders to build your character using ‘feminine’ and ‘masculine’ features are you see fit. Then you can use any combinations of hair features or clothes as you want. You can court any character in the game regardless of what gender, or lack thereof.
Decorate the inside of your house or your farm however you like. We’ll be adding more furniture over time, but there will be an expansive library of different things you can decorate your farm with. If you want to put your bed outside sure you can do that, why not.
More dateable characters.
We have over 60 dateable NPCs currently in the game between two towns. Each town can grow certain crops and so depending on which town you choose to start in, your farming experience will be different.
Set up your own dedicated server or connect via local to local either way, Pumpkin Days will have multiplayer support. People with a handful of friends or host at least 20 players.
Those are just a few of the things we are proud of that we’re adding. I’ll be talking about each of our features in more features in different posts. In the meantime, if you want to be apart of the Pumpkin Days community, you can do so by
