I see art that someone on deviantart made and am like "thats kinda shit" because it has the whole generic anime look to it with barely any facial expression and really stiff posing, but then i look back at mine and realize mine is just equally as shitty in some ways
Argle Fargle Pythagorean Theorem (ooc)
So today in math we had a test and the last question that was “*picture of circle with rectangle of 12ft by 5ft in center, almost touching edges of circle; area not covered by rectangle shaded black* What is the area of the shaded part?”, which the teacher told us involved the Pythagorean Theorem. Which we hadn’t learned yet. So a student asks the teacher how to do that, so she writes the equation and draws an example. I was confused as fuck. Once I got to the last question, whilst I still didn’t know how to do it, I almost wrote “Argle Fargle Pythagorean Theorem” So I went over to my math teacher and and asked for a better explanation. She told me that if I find the area of the rectangle, I can find the radius of the circle. Which is essential to finding the area of a circle.

Tuba-ing all the way, I decided to keep playing the tuba!
Hello, Admin Fred here.
Recently, as most of you may know, I have started to play the tuba.
I am doing pretty well actually.
I know right?
Anyway, we're now playing British Isles Suite, Fa Una Canzona, The Last Battle and St. Thomas.
I'm so used to playing the melody that playing bass is really difficult for me to grasp.
Here's where I ask all you musical people for help!
Homework: Teach Admin Fargle how to play St. Thomas properly and tell Admin Fred some tips for the tuba.
Submit tips and "homework" click here, and if you need help on handing in homework, click here
I will also post them & reply to them, help is appreciated!
Now I also have a playing test for band I need to practice for, so toodle-loo!

Meanwhile, a snippet of a conversation between Admin Fred and I.

The Tuba.
I've stayed true to my little promise last year.
I am playing the tuba.
And I'm just going to say that...
This is the hardest instrument. Ever.
I respect all you tuba players out there, what you do is not as easy as it looks.
But! I will not give up, even though I have thought about going back to the clarinet.
Here I go.
Wish me luck guys.
