Fantasy A is a Rainier Beach/South Seattle icon. One of my favorite neighborhoods to live in was Rainier Beach. Wheat pasted everywhere was the most polite and unassuming cat you'd see everywhere in the Southend. I've taken the light rail and #7 bus hundreds of times alongside him quietly recognizing a folk hero for the past 14 years. Crossing paths in many ways in my jobs and life around the same plastered light poles it's lovely to celebrate his film.

Fantasy A Gets A Mattress is a film and a culmination of one determined man supported by an unsuspecting community of Seattle oddballs converging to make one epic experience. Featuring a lot of already history filming locations it's a love letter to a very South Seattle world and the ever changing nature of a tech city. It encapsulated specific experiences. Waiting for the #7 and having the bus driver just say fuck the time table is too relatable. Scabbys, a venue where you work to get stage time. The owner turns on a fan facing the floor while you try to sweep to get your time on the stage. Biting with the commentary. I won't spoil the rest but I hope you can see this movie as well.
