doing the unthinkable and splitting chroma into 2 characters. chroma gets to stay largely the same (being an explorer studying ecology) while this new guy (Kyle..... as named by the humans she interacts with... and conflicting with the human pronouns she chooses later, oops) gets Chroma's narrative of reluctantly heading a project to manage some first contact space station living together stuff.
