Man those dreams had me fucked up all day today because I had a)property damage dreams, b) putting my foot in my mouth in front of important people dreams and c) dreams of terrible terrible loss

The trifecta has just absolutely whopped my emotional state today. even though I know they’re not real they are all based in reality/emotional overwhelm within the context of pseudo-related situations. So dumb that I don’t have a greater amount of control over my internally-generated/subconscious feelings.

Didn’t sleep much at all because I had so many anxiety dreams that I had to physically get up to escape from. This has been happening before I have to work, repeatedly. At least it makes getting up at 5 easier. Though I am exhausted.

Omg I’ve got a contracts in my inbox to sign and onboardings to do and then I’m freeeeee from my current gig whenever *i* decide because my new boss knows I have a weekend job. But tbh I’m not into the 7 day work week vibe lmao. Anddddd I even told him about school in September so I’m gonna coordinate my “weekends” to be my busiest school days and I’ll even be able to come in late after my shorter morning classes 🥹 AND I can reassess quarterly! Now when I graduate I’ll be fully employed 😌

Totally normal for a legitimate for-profit company to refuse to reclaim or stop running their products even after they're no longer being paid to do so. I'm sure it's very normal to just keep running your service for free when your contract's been terminated. Spending money to continue running cameras that supposedly no one is looking at is definitely not an indicator they are just run by the federal government to spy on everyone and only a wacko conspiracy theorist would think so.

“Despite the effort Caillebotte put into the painting, it was rejected by France’s most prestigious art exhibition, The Salon, in 1875. The depiction of working-class people in their trade, not fully clothed, shocked the jurors and was deemed a ‘vulgar subject matter.’

The images of the floor scrapers came to be associated with Degas’s paintings of washerwomen, also presented at the same exhibition and similarly scorned as ‘vulgar’”.
