I'm raising money to present the first SqueeCon.
It will be unique 1 day event at the beautifully restored Lyric Hall Theater in New Haven, CT on Saturday 12/1/18 1-9:30 PM
SqueeCon will be our first event to promote the work of fans & fangrrl creators while networking and having fun!
Although my films have done fairly well screening, we've been shut out of quite a few major geek film festivals and I want to offer a place for other fangrrl creators to have an opportunity to show their work to their target audience.
The event will have vendors, performances, screenings, panels and special guests.
I'm raising funds to cover the cost of renting the venue. We are also renting vendor spaces, taking film submissions and selling tickets but I want to make sure the venue is paid for.
As fangrrl creators, we attempt to cover the full fandom experience including cosplay, conventions, comic books, movies, podcasts, fanfic, episodics, and creating spaces for women, girls, femmes and female identifying fangrrls to collaborate and network in geek-nerd culture.
We hope to you’ll join us to make this event special but if you can't join us maybe you'd like to donate and support this wonderful event for supporting women in fandom.
