He glances to his side and sees the pretty red-edged leaves, fluttering in the breeze. Fire-nettle. But maybe the man is wrong, maybe he’s mistaken --

Grogu grabs the pretty leaves. For a moment he feels excited, seeing the way the green and red looks against his hands. And then he realizes --

He can’t help it. He closes his eyes and lets go of the leaves and wails.

The man crouches beside a bush. It smells good, crisp and herbal. It’s one of the pale bushes that he saw on the path, instead of the one with the pretty red-edged leaves. “This bush is okay for you to touch. It’s called whiteleaf. We can cook the fish with it.”

 Grogu walks back to the man, his hand held tight around the stem of a bluegrass flower. His palm feels smooth and whole again, the burning of the fire-nettle a distant memory.

He tugs at the man’s leg, holding up his flower when the man’s shining head tilts to look at him. The man sighs, a long, shivering sound. “For me?”

10. If Inquisition operated like DA:O, what would their gift items be? What would their approval and disapproval Feast Day items be?

Helios isn’t materialistic at all, plus he’s always on the move and can be a little careless. He’s the type to tell friends and S.O.’s, if they ask what he likes, “That’s mighty kind of you to think of me, but uh- please don’t get me nothing. I know I'll misplace it or accidentally break it or sumthin, and feel mighty terrible bout it.” 

Instead, anytime you acquire a new mount, either through purchase or war table, you get Helios Approves. It’s kind of like a gift because Helios helps take care of them and he loves horses, but also grows almost as fond of harts, nugalopes, and dracolisks. 

A cutscene gift might be a new fishing rod since fishing is a big hobby of his and if he’s using it he won't lose it. A Feast Day Prank would be giving him horse jerky, he’d be incredibly offended. A Feast Day gift would be a copy of Tales of the Champion signed by Hawke themselves, since Hawke is his hero.

16. What would the Fear Demon say to them in the Fade to try and discourage them?

Nightmare Demon: "Little farm boy so far away... Tell me, Helios, what kind of hero can’t keep his promises? They are so disappointed in you.”

Helios, quiet and defiant, but with pain in his eyes: “I’ll be home soon.”

Explanation: Helios promised his parents (horse masters in the Free Marches) when he went away to join the mercenaries at age 16 that he would come home every year to help with tending to and selling/delivering the horses before Tourney season. Every year for the past 12 years he’s kept his promise. After joining the Inquisition though, he had to write to them and explain he would be a late this year because he’s helping save the world.

20. How do they react to learning abominations can retain their consciousness and identity, and even live peacefully with their spirits/demons, as seen in Stone-Bear Hold?

Impressed, relieved, and about 3 levels of wow-ed, Helios lets out a long low whistle before nodding. He’s never been as weary as he probably should have been about spirits/demons, but this is definitely good news, right?

“See, Lady Viv? Nothing to worry ‘bout.”

“They are still dangerous, my dear. And you, still a fool.”

“No need to be rude.” he replies with a friendly smile and shake of his head. “I’m just saying, if anyone can figure out how to keep control of themselves, it’s you.” 

“How comforting.”

That's awesome! Best of luck! I always feared having them on my main blog might drive people away but if anything the opposite happened. I found my little slice of the Tumblr community to be super supportive!
