So, I keep seeing True Blood "fans" freaking out about this final season, and how much they hate it. Some of them are saying the past two or three seasons have sucked (pun intended) and they can't stand it anymore. Others are equating the entire show to Dexter, and how both shows should have ended at season four. Let's get one thing clear: No one is forcing you to watch True Blood. No one strapped you down on a surgical table and made you watch Dexter. No vampire glamoured you into continuing to watch True Blood past the point that you said it should have ended. I feel bad for the people who didn't understand why Dexter ended the way it had to end. I pity the fools who didn't get the message, the entire story and character arcs that covered Season 1-Season 8. If you really can't stand the way that True Blood is going and wince in agony as you force yourself to withstand the supposed crapfest that are the last episodes of the show because you won't feel like a "true" fan if you stop, you're either a masochist or a moron...or both. Just do what I did. Stop watching. Wait for it to be over. Then go on the interwebs or ask people you know who were brave enough to stick it through until the end to find out what happened. If you like what you hear or read and want to find out how it got to that point, watch the episodes you were too afraid to watch. If you don't like what you hear or read, or if people you trust all say it sucked rotten monkey balls, then move on with your life. Reminisce about the good ol' days. Write fanfiction if you're so desperate to get the perfect end that you think should have happened. That's what it's for. If you're too lazy to do that then too bad. Boo-hoo, poor you.
