17. “Ignore me, I didn’t see anything.”

Hank never liked weddings.

At first it was because he was the only one who was single and unmarried in the friend group but then he met Alex.

The first time he met Alex was at Charles and Erik wedding. They had bonded over the fact they never liked weddings due to drama. They had then ditch their reception and had fun on their own. Hank didn’t know that he end up falling in love with Alex, didn’t realize that Alex would have the same feelings as him.

But Hank doesn’t regret it. The blond made him so happy and now he guesses how stressful planning a wedding really was. It was a long slow road but now he can safely say that after today, he will be a married man and he will no longer be the unmarried friend in the group. Scott really was a blessing though, Alex’s younger brother really helped throughout the whole thing and he was good at quickly calming his older brother down when the wedding planner that Charles hired for them would give them disapproving looks.

Not to mention she kept hitting on Hank and the blond was not happy with that at all.

But the big day was finally here. Raven and Charles was going a little extreme on the tradition and he had to admit that he didn’t get a very good night sleep due to the fact that he wasn’t holding onto his soon to be husband. It was really different sleeping alone after he adjusted to another person in his bed for three years.

“Aren’t you going a little over the top with tradition?” Hank asks as he fiddles with his tie. “No, it is essential in every single wedding. It really should be a law.” Raven says as she fiddles with his hair. “Are you serious?” He asks shocked and she giggles. “Now, you just need to text me when you’re ready.” She demands before briefly leaving the room. He sighs as he looks into the mirror one last time before going on the search for his phone.

After ten minutes of searching and leaving him seriously confused he tries to remember where he last saw it. He was here very early and he left it in the room where he thought he was getting ready.

The same room where Alex is getting ready.

With a groan he opens the door and checks to make sure that Raven wasn’t around. If she found out he went to Alex’s room to grab his phone and sees him before the wedding, she will murder him and make sure no one will ever find his dead body. He quickly walks over and silently opens the door.

Of course Charles was with Alex. He really should have known better. “What are you doing here?” Charles asks and Hank had to note with amusement that Alex look relieved when he sees him. Hank ignores Charles as he spots his phone and grabs it. “Ignore me. I didn’t see anything.” He says blocking his view from seeing Alex and Charles.

He opens the door and before he could leave, a hand grabs his shoulder. Before Hank could turn to see who grabbed his shoulder, a pair of lips brush softly over his cheek. “I don’t care about the tradition.” Alex whispers and the brunet smiles. “Me neither.” He replies before pulling Alex into a proper kiss.

And if Raven caught them together before the wedding ceremony started and yelled at them for ten minutes straight, well Hank doesn’t care.

It was totally worth it.

Harley: I mean, that’s kinda a hard one to answer.

Flash: It’s me.

Harley: True. Had Eddie not asked Eugene out, I would be dating him.

Betty: Right now though, Harley has a tragic crush on Osborn.
