Hello, Tumblr! I’ve had to stay away with huge to-do lists and back-to-work prep, but then I started getting really bummed that I’m missing all the goodies and fandom happenings! And for some reason, those lists of to-do items just keep getting WORSE....
I still can't believe I was bought THAT calendar for Christmas!!

I'll admit to not rewatching TSE or JE. But does she really?? I don't really remember much of Rose's involvement as I was too focused on Donna. I can't even remember now if I was happy that Rose and TenToo ended up together. (I think I eye rolled)
If you're referring to the "I was here first" speech, she really does say it, when she is sitting in front of Wilf's computer watching them on the subwave network.
As far as I remember, I wasn't happy Rose ended up with TenII; but then again, I was still reeling from the romantic relationship I had not suspected at all being suddenly rammed down my throat. Yes, I know it was stupid of me not to see it, but I am an extremely old-fashioned Doctor Who fan who had only ever seen the Doctor as being sort of asexual. That was never called into question in my mind until the end of the Midnight episode. So having the whole "Rose is my one true love" thing in the finale burst my very new and precious balloon. I was not happy; and can't be about it even now.
There are parts of TSE and JE that I deliberately skip over, but I do rewatch it. And I STILL can't see Donna being happy about the Doctor/Rose reunion whenever I do - their expressions look very bittersweet to me - despite what the shippers insist. Oh well.
