I know this is rather random but this was on my mind and I got school work and other stuff to worry but now I need to take the chance to make cool fandom stuff or artwork before somebody else take it. I dont have much time for art or drawing in my hand due to some work, i try to productive as possible

Does it seem like there is this influx of imagine blogs? Or is it just me? Like those blogs where its like imagine you are in kinda romantic situation with this character. Usually a male character. I feel like there is like alot of these imagine posts in popular male character tags and I don't remember there being any before is that just me? I don't mean Star Wars specifically but fandoms in general. Actually i feel like there are less in the Star Wars fandom than others but still quite a few.
If you mean self-insert blogs I think I’m mutuals with a couple of Kylo Ren/self blogs. Maybe it’s a new trend, but there have always been self-insert fics and roleplays and such so maybe the novelty is in the format more than the content? It’s an interesting fandom phenomenon, though I don’t know enough to speak authoritatively about it. I’m a roleplayer of many years and I think it’s great that people immerse themselves into the fiction and imagine themselves as characters in that world.

Could someone please explain to me what in the blue hell is up with the huge spike in SoarinDash art lately? I can’t seem to get away from it. Everywhere I go, SoarinDash, SoarinDash, SOARINDASH! No joke, I can’t scroll down my Dashboard feed without seeing it every ten images or so.
Am I missing something? I didn’t think it was THAT popular of a fandom ship, especially given that its very basis for existing is shallower than a puppy dog’s piss puddle. If this trend keeps up, I’m probably going to have to burst everyone’s bubble with a comic detailing what a waste of space Soarin really is. Please don’t make me do that, fandom. Just...no. Don’t make me work. :T

What's with all the modern AU fics in the Sansan fandom right now? Â I'm not complaining but I'm honestly curious. Â There's been a huge explosion of them within the past month or so. Â It's really odd how the fandom goes through a collective trend like that.
