A lot of fanfic writers in the Invader Zim fandom don't know what to do with Mini Moose and Gir, although they're not the only ones. In most of them besides Dib and Zim most of the characters either vanish, religated to cheerleaders, or ooc antagonists. And if they end up getting the spot light most of the time they're not their own character, but Zim's armcandy. Even though Zim and Dib are not the only interesting characters in the show. I get it, they're the main characters, but I wish others would get more spotlight without being used to just as a tool to further Zim's/Dib's story. I'm not saying there aren't fics like that, but they're rare.
