god, i feel you. i found season 3 to be absolutely exhausting with all its relationships and i reallyā¦ donāt understand how anyone can connect w that aspect of it? like iāll hear people talk about how much they liked one of the (for lack of a better term) hetero arcs and iām justā¦ ??? what am I missing that they arenāt?? (itās especially frustrating that the only friendship-centric group has the least to do with the actual monsters/upside-down/etcā¦)
oh god if it gets worse in season 3 i may literally not be able to watch anymore. like, just having to cope with the constantĀ āuwu ur a coupleāĀ āno weāre notā wrt na//ncy and jo//hnathan was like....kind of soul-crushingly too close to life. and itās just....very very frustrating that the show sort of almost baits withĀ āhey look at these compelling characters supporting eachother!ā and then goesĀ āhey actually heck you theyāre all going to be at eachotherās throats about relationship dramaā. (...if the only friendship centric group is.......uninvolved, that really doesnt bode).Ā like, ok, i can deal (reluctantly) with Mās whole schtick with E, and i can reluctantly deal with J and her complicated stuff w H, but it....sucks how they build up all these compelling relationships and then kind of sh*t on it all by goingĀ āand also they only care because they want in eachothers pants and/or romantically love eachotherā and iām just so. exhausted by it
