saw that the PJO tv show premiere was the other night and i had two (2) realizations
first, that scheduling the show release on the solstice wasn't only a nod to the book, it was because that's right in the middle of winter break for school age kids and not only was the young cast probably not missing as much school to attend events, but also school-age viewers won't have work so they can just bingewatch the show all day long
very smart, mr "former school teacher" riordan (or whoever came up w that idea)
the second was that curly hair product companies out there need to invest in this show STAT bc it'll be fantastic advertising lmao
