Vespa is NOT the name her parents gave her!!!!! Referring to her as Vespa throughout this post but just know she didn’t start going by Vespa until after leaving the vault.

Vespa was a child actress, a Shirley Temple type. Known for her melodic voice, adorable expressions, and impressive acting & dancing skills.

Speaking of being a star, Vespa starred in a variety of movies and guest starred in others. Her most famous movie was "Whiskey and Wildflowers", her co-star being none other than Cooper Howard. In the film, a young girl in a western frontier town is rescued by a retired sheriff, and they must work to rescue the little girl's parents from a dangerous criminal gang. Full of cute musical sections and emotional drama, the film was Vespa's highest grossing film.

Vespa also did a myriad of commercials, her most famous being for Sugar Bombs and Giddy-Up Buttercup

Despite the fame and success, Vespa never seemed to measure up to the expectations of her parents. Her life did not feel like her own, relying on pretending to truly be the characters she played to get through parental ridicule.

Vespa's family accepted entrance into Vault 76, and temporarily lived in Appalachia prior to the bombs falling.

Even in the Vault, Vespa was expected to put on a show. As the years dragged on and Vespa grew older, she was seen as a reminder of the "Good ol days" for the Vault Dwellers. Days Vespa would much rather forget.

Vespa's parents died a few years before the opening of the Vault. She felt a lot of complex emotions regarding that, but that moment caused her to realize she had been living based on the expectations of others rather than living for herself.

Now in the Appalachian wasteland, Vespa has a new name and a new outlook on life.
