Falling Deeper: Trouble with a Capital T Part 5
For three days I coasted on the heroin induced wave. Each time I started to come down I would receive another injection. Rhett quickly blew through the money I had brought with me.Â
When we picked up the money we ditched the cell phone and the ATM card to prevent @Vishous_SASBDB from finding me and forcing me to face a reality that seemed worse than a nightmare.Â
I didnât shed tears, I didnât need to eat, I didnât feel. Fuck it felt incredible to not feel on the edge of a break down, to not have tears prick my eyes. Did it hurt not to be home? Yes. But was that truly my home? I couldnât bring myself to admit it. The ache in my heart continued.
Now I needed more. I looked for the stash. It was gone, nothing was left. I rubbed over the track marks in my arms. The cold was coming back and my heart broke.Â
Rhett had woken up and wrapped his body around my own. I didnât want him to. I tried to push him away. âI want to leave.âÂ
This angered him. His hand gripped my throat and he slammed me into the bed while he squeezed. I kicked and flailed wildly as he held me in place.Â
âYouâre not leaving till Iâm done with you. I need moreâ
He released my neck but the torture wasnât over. He replaced it with his fists. A drug induced frenzy causing me to try to curl in on myself and protect my body. He was a transitioned male who was training to be a warrior, but his anger and penchant for drugs ruined that. I ruined that.Â
I screamed for help that wouldnât come. I didnât deserve it. The Scribeâs chosen ones wouldnât come for her. When Rhett satisfied his anger by using me as a punching bag he grabbed his phone and left the raggedy bedroom. I could hear him talking in the other room.
I hurt too much to move, I stayed still and sobbed. I could feel the bruises and broken pieces of my body. I cried. The tears flowed freely. I tried to be quiet to not upset him further.
After five minutes on the phone he returned to the bedroom. He yanked me up by my hair, seething in my face. âWeâre going to meet Harvey and youâre going to be a good little slut and get me a fix. Heâll take care of you. You wonât be my problem anymore.âÂ
I couldnât speak. The spark in my eye was gone. I had given up, my life, my dignity, and apparently my body were forfeit to a drug dealerâs whims.Â
He shoved me towards a shower and said I had ten minutes to get ready. I turned on the water and it wouldnât warm. Right, he probably didnât pay the water bill. I quickly showered. The icy water amplified the pain that radiated.
I pulled on a dress, and i noticed the change in my body. I was thinner than before. Probably under 100 pounds now.Â
Why bother with makeup or my hair? I wasnât being sacrificed for that. Without a word I sit on the bed and wait for Rhett to grab me.
He takes my arm. Digging his fingers into my arm nearly snapping my bone, but I stay quiet.
I still feel the heroin in my system, the itch is now familiar. For the car ride I was silent and unmoving.Â
The crushing of despair filled my lungs with each miserable breath I took with my broken ribs.Â
We finally pulled up to what looked like an abandoned warehouse.Â
I was yanked from the car and basically shoved toward Harvey. My feet caught and I fell to my hands and knees in front of him.Â
âSheâs a Virgin. Sheâll be a great fuck or sheâll make you money. Now whereâs what I want?â Rhett was so cold... why did I ever like him?
Right. My mind wasnât going there right now. I didnât deserve to.
Harvey was the dealer I had met a few times. His lecherous stares had disturbed me. Lust and evil. He maintained the same look.Â
âDeal.â Harvey said, and a suitcase full of heroin was handed over to Rhett.
Rhett nodded and left without another word. Without saying goodbye.Â
Despair grew in the pit of my stomach. I was shoved toward the warehouse. It would be my new home I guessed.
