poppy :   what comforts your muse ?

“Depending on the situation? Probably listening to music or talking to one of my sisters. If it’s one of them that I’m mad at, which does seem to happen a lot lately, then I would say talking to one of my friends. Reading a good book to escape is always comforting to do too, but I can’t say I’ve had enough time to do that lately, unfortunately.”

lotus :   has your muse ever felt as though they’ve been reborn ?  have they ever desired the feeling of a fresh start ,   or a better understanding of themself and/or the world around them ?  

“Sure to the first one! Energy can’t be destroyed. I think it would be silly to think that the laws of physics don’t apply to our souls. We’re all just energy hanging out and vibing until we can’t anymore. Rinse and repeat, I guess!” She laughed. “Me moving to New York and starting my shop was definitely a fresh start! I would say that’s the closest I’ve gotten to starting over or a fresh start since I’ve been here for a while and I feel like I’ve always known myself and what I wanted to do with my life from the time I was a little kid!”

willow :   how does your muse handle sadness   &   depression ?

“Easy I get angry. Better to make it seem like things don’t bother you than showing that they really do. Besides, half of the people that make me sad don’t deserve the privilege of seeing me cry. As for the depression? I feel like it’s the same. I’m working on not lashing out at people as much. Clearly, I have a lot of work to do if I even want to change.”

sunflower :   what brings your muse the most joy in life ?

“Music and friends. It’s super easy to make me happy with pretty much anything. It depends on the music too, I guess. To be more specific, being able to play music brings me a lot of joy? Maybe bringing other people joy brings me the most joy in life. Does that sound too sappy? Probably, oh well.”

basil :   does your muse have a love - hate relationship with anyone or anything 

Damien has a love hate relationship with his cat. He loves that cat with his whole heart. What he does not love is when he comes home to find half of his mail knocked off of the kitchen table and onto the floor or scattered around the room. Where do you think she got her name Terror from? 

Also his job. He loves his money but half of the time he wants to rage quit, honestly.

willow was busy at the shop this morning. helping get everything set up for valentines day, taking orders over the phone, and just general shop duties. she was ducked under the counter trying to find her favorite pen she dropped when she heard the bell over the door chime. “i’ll be with you in just a moment.” she said, rummaging under the counter for her pen. “aha!” she exclaimed joyfully. “how may i-” thud. “ouch!!” she bumped her head on the counter as she stood up. popping up she rubbed her head. and tried to remain as graceful as she could. “how may i help you today?” she asked again, pretending nothing even happened.
