I've been patiently waiting for a sign, praying for a sign. For something or a solution to this wanting to breathe your air while we kiss, wishing you would care. I'll never understand how you felt "you lost everything" when I never left. Right where you left me. Wishing wanting waiting for a presence like you're still with me. Wanting to fall asleep next to you and wake up next to you again. Wishing you would call but you never did.

First I thought I'd die without you. Lose my purpose and evaporate into thin air, never to be seen again. Standing in the middle of your storm the wind almost knocked me over, but I stood fast as to say I AM HERE AND I WILL NOT FALL FOR I STAND FOR WHAT I AM FIGHTING FOR. Now the storm is finally past and I'm standing in the aftermath, I see all the signs of a past lover things I cannot change. Now filed away beside my other past failures, the file cabinet is beginning to overflow.
