so for literally a year i've had the idea of bristlefrost and rootspring in the story of eurydice and orpheus, specifically with hadestown songs and storytelling. hades would be bramblestar (and rather than being possessed and unpossessed, he simply changes to become a better cat at the end) and squirrelstar is persephone. shadowsight could be hermes and narrate the story too. i wanted to scream abt it here so

in 8th grade i made an au where sol gets chased out of shadowclan and hides in a tunnel, and finds a glowing pool leading him to pyhrria from wings of fire, and there he finds a magical scroll. he seizes the opportunity to control a new world and uses the scroll to become darkstalker, and then is defeated when foeslayer gives him an enchanted strawberry that reveals him as a small little cat. he's chased back to clan territory, where shadowclan is waiting for him to seize justice.
