This year, FAITH/VOID will host a series of art shows on a semi-regular basis to promote the work and ideas of the gifted and visionary members of the collective DIY/underground/HC/punk community.
Naturally, this includes prolific Pittsburgh based artist Jason Lee (aka Laura Pallmall). And so, we are thrilled to present NOTHING LEFT TO LEARN: The Zines and Drawings of Laura Pallmall.
Jason gained notoriety for his hilarious, off-the-wall, and mostly topical gig flyers that synthesized cartoons, comic sans and biting social commentary. He went on to self-publish numerous zines as part of the ongoing series NOTHING LEFT TO LEARN and eventually branched into comics, transcending his usual audience. A story from his solo story series, βSporgo,β was anthologized in the 2017 edition of Best American Comics. He will be premiering his comic, Sporgo 3, at this year's Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF).
Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, May 11 at 8pm for music by local acts:
