Angel was not feeling well, his head hurt and he felt weak. He knew why, well he thought he knew why. He needed blood but that was not who he wanted to be. He didn't want to be a vampire. Whoever turned him a few days ago was truly a horrible individual. "Turn off the light please." He asked as someone turned on the light in his office.

Angel had only met the other once as far as he remembered and it had not been friendly. “Do not attack me, I am not in the mood.” He was just getting sorted here in Washington. He didn’t remember coming to Washington yet here he was and face to face with a hunter. The one he didn’t wish to see again.

The last time he had anything to do with Faith was when she shot the arrow at him, that nearly killed him and the only cure was to bite Buffy. Something he never wanted to do. "Stay right there, Faith. What do you want?" He didn't trust her, even for a moment. She was supposed to be Buffy's friend yet all she did was cause problems.

Angel didn't know what was wrong with him. He felt odd. He had fangs. His face, was odd. He shook it off, well in a way and his face became normal. But he felt incredibly hungry. "Please stay back." Angel took a step back as someone approached. "I might need to go to the hospital? Maybe? Something is wrong..."

"If you are going to stick around you can help me find Buffy." Angel looked over at Faith. Buffy was his priority right now. He knew that she could handle herself but it wouldn't stop him from wanting to protect her. Be at her side through everything.

"No it's fine I'll sleep on the couch. You can sleep on the bed." Angel had said to Buffy that he would try so this was him trying. It was hard each time he looked at her he just remembered that because of her he could have killed Buffy. "I am used to uncomfortable places."

"I wouldn't read too much into me remembering..." Angel mumbled. He was still very unsure about Faith. All he really remembered is her vendetta against Buffy, shooting him with a poisoned arrow. Sure she claimed they were okay and even friends after but he just wasn't sure. "I am not saying we're going to be best buddies but keep showing me that I can trust you and maybe I'll get better."

Angel was trying to use his new abilities to find out a way to keep his soul perminantely if he ever became a vampire again. For the moment he was as human as they come. Which he wasn’t sure was the best thing. It made him more vulnerable and with Dru and Spike around it could be dangerous. So he was also carrying a stake around just in case. He heard someone approach and pulled the stake from his jacket. “Oh it’s just you.” He sighed.
