Rant time
It's really difficult to be told that you're something special your whole life. Because when you step outside of your small childhood nebula you're just as small and unimportant you've always been so terrified of becoming. I've never handled rejection well, but I'm feeling a little crushed right now. I've worked so hard these three years. My voice has come so far, but I'm still that same chubby alto with the big voice and no range. When will I feel adequate? Ever? How do I break free of the small town mindset and move beyond?
