28. If they could have one wish, what would they wish for?This varies wildly depending on what setting they’re in and whether they’re still with Temperance or not. It.. kinda has to be the latter as they just wouldn’t have the sense of self to wish for anything for themself while still under her control.
So, assuming their standard verse (DnD), and they are free from Temperance. If she were still alive they would wish for freedom, safety. To no longer have to live in fear of her finding them. If she’s already been taken care of though, I think they’d wish for something small? Something mundane, perhaps something for the people closest to them.

Family: A mother and father in her hometown, who she gets along with well except for the many arguments (which is really one argument over and over again, but who’s counting) (whisper. whisper’s counting). There’s also Asp, her mentor in being a ranger and also being cool sometimes. After Asp and everything that happened there she stayed with Toffee and her grandson Yuuta (both by the lovely @fahrynn) for a while and she considers them family. Well, Toffee’s family. Yuuta’s her rival (despite being all of 8 years old at the time)

...are you sure we’re talking about the same characters. val in modern aus okay, they’re pretty friendly if not particularly emotive, but jay’s just a big old grump. Then again, looking at some of your characters, maybe you’ve just got a type

I don’t think so? I’ve never really written comedy of any kind and I think it’s a genre I’d struggle with, so unless I find a really compelling reason to try it it’s probably not gonna happen
