NEW PURITY SEAL AFTER NONE FOR SO LONG :D
Transcription as follows:
Where we break others, we will endure. Where it brings ruin, we will build. Where it calls for sacrifice, we will answer. There is no end to this duty.
This is a quote from Rogal Dorn in the Warhammer 40k novel Sigismund: The Eternal Crusader by John French. A few things of note here:
That first "we" originally reads war
This is, I believe, the third confirmed Rogal Dorn quote he's used so far
The full unmodified quote he's pulling from is:
War is fire.... War is pain and suffering. It is loss and darkness and death. It is the bitterest of deeds. It is our burden, my warriors. We are makers of war. We create it, we hold it in our blood. There will be no kind end for any of us. There will be only war…. Where war breaks others, we will endure. Where it brings ruin, we will build. Where it calls for sacrifice, we will answer. There is no end to this duty. We do this that others should not have to bear what only we can. It is our promise to humanity.
Once again a really interesting look at his characterization, and also definitely a return thematically to the earlier quotes on the jacket! I would go so far as to say we are "so back," even. Thank you for sending this to me!
