hello there anon,yes indeed - it’s a little bit of css coding and it’s not too difficult to use - one line of code inserted into the right place, but really it works best for ‘container’ style themes, where the gradient effect can be applied to a fixed size box.
i’m going to point you to this tutorial written by rabbithelps - it pretty much explains all there is to know about adding the ‘faded’ effect with a gradient using a webkit mask on a container! -
if you want to know more, i’d also recommend taking a look at this page which explains webkit masks in detail (and also how you can use them for more than fading posts, but apply them to images and other elements too!)… :3
