[Al Quran: Ale-Imran, 61]

فَمَن حاجَّكَ فيهِ مِن بَعدِ ما جاءَكَ مِنَ العِلمِ فَقُل تَعالَوا نَدعُ أَبناءَنا وَأَبناءَكُم وَنِساءَنا وَنِساءَكُم وَأَنفُسَنا وَأَنفُسَكُم ثُمَّ نَبتَهِل فَنَجعَل لَعنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الكاذِبين

Then whoever disputes with you about it, after the knowledge which has come to you, so say : Come! We will call our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will supplicate earnestly (together) and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars.

A delegation of Christians from Najran came to Rasool Allah (sawaw) whose chiefs were Aqib, Syed, and Ahtam.

They performed their worship in Masjid-e-Nabwi with the permission of Rasool Allah (sawaw). Then Rasool Allah (sawaw) invited them to accept Tauheed, his Risalat, and Esa (as) being the servant of Allah.

And told them the saying of Allah, “The example of Eesa is like Adam near Allah, created him with earth, then said “Be” and he was.” But they did not believe, so Rasool Allah (sawaw) invited for #Mubahila that if we are truthful then Allah(swt) will send Curse on you. They promised for the next day. Rasool Allah (sawaw) came out with such a splendor that Ali asws was in place of himself (Nafs), and Hassan (asws) & Hussain (asws) in place of sons, and Syyeda Fatima Zahra (saws) in place of ladies, only took Ahlul Bait (asws) in spite of presence of all the people, whose flesh, blood, and soul (Nafs) is same.

Rasool Allah (sawaw) took hands of Hassan (asws) & Hussain (asws), Syyeda Fatima Zahra (saws) behind him,

and Imam Ali(asws) was walking behind Syyeda(asws). Rasool Allah (sawaw) ordered to stretch (tie) his Qatwani Chadar between two trees, and Masumeen (asws) sat under it.

Rasool Allah (sawaw) said to Masumeen (asws): I will supplicate and you all will say “Ameen.” Rasool Allah (sawaw) was supporting on his bow, and raised his right hand for Dua, so the Christian chiefs became pale.

Their priest said: O Christians, I am seeing those faces that if they ask Allah, the mountain will move from its place, do not do Mubahila with them, you will perish, and no Christian will be left on the earth until Qiyamah. So they accepted to pay tax, and promised to give every year one thousand swords, one thousand armour, one thousand leather shields, and one thousand Dinars.

May Allah(swt) curse the liars.

May Allah (swt) curse to the highest degree Omar ibn al-Khattab who killed Fatima Al-Zahra (sa) and all those who attacked the house of Imam Ali (as). Lanato-Allah ala ahlil Saqifa and the leaders of Saqifa: Abu Bakr, Omar and Othman! 

May Allah (swt) bless and reward Abu Lu’lu’ah who retaliated for the injustice of killing the Lady of Light Fatima Al-Zahra (sa).

Asalamu alayka ya Fatima Al Zahra (as) ya Om Al Hassan and Al Hussain!

Mubahala, Ghadeer, The Prophet’s (PBUH) death, Fatima’s (AS) House, Fadak and more, The 5 events that made me choose Shia Islam.

وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُ

“Give the kinsman his due ....” (17 : 26)

Commentators have written that when this verse was revealed

The Holy Prophet (saw) asked the Angel Gabriel : Who are the kinsmen and what is their due ?

The Angel replied : Give Fidak to Fatima for it is her due, and whatever is due to Allah and the Prophet out of Fadak, that also belongs to her, so entrust it to her also.

Thereupon the Holy Prophet called Fatima (sa) and wrote the deed of gift, giving Fadak to her.

“O Muslims! Is my inheritance usurped? O son of Abu Quhafa, is it in the Book of Allah that you inherit your father and I do not inherit my father? Surely you have done a strange thing! Did you intendedly desert the Book of Allah and turned your back on it? Allah said: (And Sulaiman was Dawood’s heir. 27:16) and said about Yahya bin Zakariah: (Grant me from Thyself an heir, who should inherit me and inherit from the children of Yaqub. 19:5-6) and said: (And the possessors of relationships are nearer to each other in the ordinance of Allah. 8:75), and He said: (Allah enjoins you concerning your children: The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females. 4:11), and He said: (Bequest is prescribed for you when death approaches one of you, if he leaves behind wealth for parents and near relatives. 2:180). You claimed that I have no position, and no inheritance from my father, and there is no kinship between us. So did Allah distinguish you with a verse, from which He excluded my father? Or do you say: people of two religions do not inherit each other? Am I and my father not of one religion? Or are you more aware of the Qur'an than my father and my cousin?”

This paragraph tells us many things about this great lady.

1.) Her knowledge of the Qur'an was so vast and detailed that she could quote many Ayaat on the spot with full understanding of the implication of each verse. She, like her father and husband and sons, was a walking, talking Quran. Even though she was told that the Prophet’s do not have heirs (which she disproved), she definitely inherited the knowledge and wisdom of her father.

2.) This Khutbah was not pre-planned. She made her way to the Masjid, put up a curtain and began speaking as if she had the tongue, strength and power of Ali. This lady of light showed the people that she was truly a lady of might and would defend what is right even if it meant she would have to suffer the consequences.

3.) Despite many claiming that Islam is a religion which neglects the role of women, one of the greatest role-models, guides and leaders of all believers in Islam is indeed a woman. When Ali was not in a position to speak out (for reasons that he mentions in Khutbah Shiqshaqiyyah), she took the stage and defended her and her husband’s right and his wilayat. To all Muslims, especially the followers of Ahlulbayt, Lady Fatima al-Zahra holds a unique position as the most pious woman ever, in addition to being the daughter of the Holy Prophet, wife of the first Imam, and mother of Al-Hassan and Al-Husain (a.s).

My Peace and blessing be upon you, oh chief of all the women in the heavens and on earth. My Peace and blessings be upon you, oh my oppressed mother. Invite me to Baqi so I can lament for you and and weep over the oppression that was done to you.
