Philadelphia Day 1: The Fabric Workshop and Museum
On our first day in Philadelphia we went to see Ally, a collaborative exhibition that weaves together art and dance by Janine Antoni, Anna Halprin, and Stephen Petronio. The gallery installations are emotional, playful, and reminded us of loss, what gets left behind, the body and memory. Our tour guide Petra facilitated us through the art galleries and then took us into the studio. There we learned more about the process and even had a chance to meet with the fabric workshop artists that help make all this work possible. We love this art exhibition and everything The Fabric Workshop and Museum is doing!
