Four months almost. Eugene's been having a tough time nursing these days - big developmental leap, early teething, possible nursing strike, maybe just prefers bottles - and it's been taking a toll on me. This rejection is very hard to take! Last night after a weekend away and lots of failed nursing attempts and bottles I figured out that, while he's protesting most nursing positions, laying down is still an option and I'm so grateful. Poor pup! Also had really hoped to be back at it, vintage-wise, by now. Momming is challenging. Thought I'd throw something real out here. A little gray day vent... (at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

Excellent pre-birthday day!
