I got this fun ball of wool roving at a fiber festival because it reminded me of a coelacanth. And now I've spun it up into yarn that ALSO looks like a coelacanth!!
It's coelacanth yarn!! You see it, right??
And in a month or two (or three) it'll be woven into a coelacanth table runner!

I have to wonder about the differences between Preservers and Trolls. They were both taken in by the coneheads from the dying planet they evolved on. But the flitrins/preservers grew to be immortal, sexless, non-breeding (one assumes), subservient, and integrated into the High Ones' lives so much so that they made a door in the palace that only preservers could open.
While the trolls became either immortal or so long lived they may as well be immortal (they wrinkle and their hair goes grey eventually, so I have suspicions,) certainly still breed, and were neglected to the point that they rebelled against the High Ones.
I just wonder.
Please excuse the censor. I'd rather not have tumblr kick me.
I like this moment. Wendy sure has a thing for strong women and gentle men in her stories. I do wonder why Olbar was so angry like he was though. Did he think the boy convinced her to run away? Because it sure seems the other way around.
I have always loved this panel.
I do wonder what happened to them. It seems unlikely they went back to Olbar. I like to think that they are the ones who started the bug tribes.

Long time no see! I’ve been buried in my work on this film—finally at the rough animation stage. Here’s some promotional work to keep you all intrigued.
