Icarus hates the name Sherbert because it isnât theirs in the same way their eye isnât theirs
To them itâs just another thing that Quixis has changed, just another part of them that has been destroyed by this mysterious entity
Fable knows this
He knows about the names association to the false god and he knows about Icarusâ hatred for it
But that association is the exact reason he called them it
He doesnât see or care for Icarus as his child anymore
He sees them as a gateway into Quixisâ power and cares for them as such
He doesnât see Icarus as Icarus anymore, he sees them as Sherbert, an extension of Quixis
