It's a fuckin' sweater, made out of plastic.
PLASTIC. You know why it's dry flat? Because the heat of the dryer will ruin the sweater faster because it's FUCKING PLASTIC.
But it's plastic they can charge $66 bucks for.
Look, you want to extend your veganism into clothing, do it but own it. There are no environmentally friendly alternatives for any fiber that is able to be affordable or accessible. Also, sheep & goats need to be sheered, they become overgrown and get things (like dirt, brambles, weeds, etc...) and can hardly move.
There can be some environmental issues in production as there is with nearly EVERY aspect of fashion, and it's human based.
But don't let companies sell you on this shit.
You want to buy a cashmere knock off, that's fine, cashmere is expensive but don't try to plug your shit by taking as a way to plug your shit as trendy and aware. Your sweater is bad for the environment and the actual animals you're not eating. There's no getting around that in this economy.
