They failed Ribbit, fr. Idc about anyone else lowkey. They made me care more about the mfs who barely got speaking roles. Scratch ain't utter one bark, and effectively was THEE most interesting one of the cast, reduced to a cameo in the distance. You could have put Queenie in Scratch's role, it wouldn't have changed a single thing story wise. Imagine being the sole reason everyone is there, and you don't get to talk. But the sh!tstain in overalls talks over everyone, and refuses to cooperate to the bitter end.
🤡More importantly? My boy Kaufmo caught a mfkn' stray. What a vibe. Smh. (His hot cocoa looked too damned GOOD btw, I still want a sip)💀.
That ending was reasonably mid; so many loose, split, unresolved ends I had to call my hairstylist. I see the influences though, and I'm happy it got so many eyes on Glitch's prowess as an indie company. I'm glad I hadn't bothered watching the series til the last few episodes dropped. Jax was always The Pookie🌸👡, was never the funny one, & that's all I learned from the finale. I'm not mad at it, the reactions of the main cast were just limp-wristed in comparison to the crashout I (and most of us) would have had.😂Cuz wtf you mean "we have each other??" HOW ABOUT WE FIND A WAY TO STOP THE CIRCUS FROM ADDING NEW PEOPLE TO ITS DATABASE????
Long story short: Every other theory video essay I watched and read through was more entertaining, even if it was kinda dumb, you could tell who REALLY wanted there to be depth to this series. The AUs? Perfection. I didn't get emotionally invested in TADC, so much as I just watched characters being emotional rather than communicating after a while. Kinda entertaining but a lil draining, if I can be extra honest.
Gun episode was filler, with mild Matrix-training-video vibes. "Pomni's beginning to believe" headass scenes.😂
Caine should have remained gone. (The interaction with Moon was exceptionally tender, so I let that slide🌛). Ragatha should have been the one to reveal Kinger's clarity when he is in the darkness of the circus. Pomni? Nahh. She got that role though. Gangle was projected onto, for the most part, when she is without a doubt the most artistically creative and would have been the ideal pick to start rebuilding the circus with Kinger. Pomni? Ehhh. She got that role though. Ragatha being the one with clear abusive trauma involving a mother figure, but, ✋🏾stop the presses, cuz Jax has that role now, oops. I could go on.
Anyway, while the fandom is still bouncing back from running straight into that 'abstract', concrete wall of a finale, (and while I wait on KOG) I'm gonna rewatch Black Mirror's USS Callister. Cuz the writing for that saga is ACTUAL heat. fym.
