hi hi anon ! just check my rules for the full list! i’m open to a lot of smut themes as long as they’re included there. i do write with a fem reader only, so that’s the main baseline. aside from that, i’m generally flexible, but anything not listed is either something i’m not familiar with or don’t feel comfortable writing yet. for example, i’m not open to threesomes at the moment 😭 (not a permanent no maybe, just something i’m not confident writing HWHDJADB), and i may also avoid more extreme or very specific kinks that aren’t mentioned in my rules. if it’s not in there, it’s safest to assume i’m not writing it unless i say otherwise!

would you recommend competitive writing to others?
hi hi, anon ^__^ !!!
i'm the kind of person who'd usually just say, "do whatever your heart desires," and honestly, the same goes for this! having spent quite a bit of time in competitive writing (even if i don't really plan on returning to that route), it helped me improve my writing skills tremendously. i learned how to write under pressure, organize my thoughts quickly, and work within strict time limits, which is probably one of the reasons i'm able to write and post fairly often nowadays. a lot of the habits i developed from those years have stayed with me long after i stopped competing ><
personally, i don't regret joining competitive writing at all. looking back, it became such a huge part of my life for a long time. there were definitely SO SO SO MANY stressful moments, but there were also so many moments that made it worthwhile. i got to challenge myself, discover what kind of writer i wanted to be, and gain confidence in my abilities little by little :)
more than the writing itself, though, i think what i treasure most are the people and experiences that came with it. i met some incredibly lovely people through competitions, attended events i never would've experienced otherwise, and made memories that i still find myself looking back on fondly. some of the friendships and connections i formed during that time are things i'm genuinely grateful for :-p
of course, not everything is for everyone, and that's completely okay! some people end up loving it, while others realize it's not really their thing, and both outcomes are perfectly fine. but if you're genuinely interested in trying it, i think it's worth giving yourself the chance. even if you don't end up pursuing it for years, you might learn something new about yourself along the way, pick up useful skills, meet wonderful people, or simply have a memorable experience !
so would i recommend it? i think i would. not because i believe everyone should do it, but because it gave me so many opportunities to grow, both as a writer and as a person. and who knows? it might end up becoming your next favorite thing toooo ♡
