The colossal Saturn V F1 engine.
Measuring 5.8 metres tall and 3.8 metres wide, the F1 engine is on of the most powerful rocket engines ever built. At full throttle it provides a staggering 1,500,000lbs of thrust and consumes 5683 litres of fuel every second. The thrust chamber reaches 3200C as it burns a mixture of Kerosene and Liquid Oxygen. You think one is enough? The first stage has five of these and consumes an olympic swimming pool of fuel every 87 seconds. This, got us to the moon.
