@eyeglitched { He has been Found. }
Witnessing the sight of Eito in this state had sent an unsettling chill up his spine.
He purposefully went on this search alone while the search party had split up among themselves. Focusing, using his senses of sight and touch to track every turned pebble and broken piece of rubble. His incredible skill in finding runaways and fugitives kicked into high gear here. The giveaway of his target had been the small speckled traces of blood. Fresh.
With a step and careful maneuver of his movement, the detective stopped. A trail of sweat trailing down his cheek as he had stumbled into a bloodied heap.
"Eito-san…!" Despite the fact that he would have to somehow, some way find a way back with him, it still made the detective's heart sink at seeing him in such a state. Torn clothes from sharp talons and teeth, blood puddling around him as wounds were feverishly dripping from the onslaught that happened to him earlier, Shuichi felt himself bite his lip. Despite the other's pleas of yearning for the detective to finish him off for good… Shuichi couldn't bring himself to entertain the idea.
He's too kind. Despite the warnings of what he had heard from Sirei and the information provided to him, he couldn't find himself to even draw up his blade to end his life. Maybe this is what Takumi felt when he himself couldn't bear bring himself to end him when he had the chance. The very life of Eito Aotsuki would lie in the hands of the detective who knelt down beside him. Hands hovering over him, fighting with himself to do something.
Thus… Eito will become my responsibility, too. I will help him.
That's when he began to bunch Eito's jacket upward against the worse wound he could find- the gash across his chest. Heart thundering with anxious dread, Shuichi hurriedly applied pressure enough to hopefully stop the worse of it from bleeding out.
"Getting a reward…? Eito-san, I don't look for people only to get rewarded." The idea hurt a little, but still the detective carried on with tending to him. Switching from using Eito's coat (now dyed with blood) with applying pressure with a torn fabric of his armor's sleeve. At least, that's what he learned from Nozomi when she showed him before. The clean material should do for now, but it won't last long.
"I was looking for you… but now you're hurt. I need to stop the bleeding so I can help you, are you able to try to sit up a little bit?" Whether or not Eito complied or not was unknown to him. He truly seemed irritated and hateful with his words- but staying calm, Shuichi tried his best even if his efforts would be denied by the other.
