What is your feeling in longing?
Melancholy
In longing, you are melancholy. You feel deeply and quietly, the feeling of yearning constant, like your own personal raincloud over your head that rains cold and collects in your heart, sometimes filling to overflow. The feeling follows you around and you push it away, but its always just a step behind; when it catches up to you, it turns your expression from a bright smile to a brief look down and your lips pulled into a kind of grimace. You bite your lip to break the look and hope no one notices. But secretly you hope someone did. You know this feeling is a creation of your own mind but you just can't shake it, and in some ways, you don't even want to. You know in your head what you desire is doubtful, but in your heart you don't want to give it up. The feeling is close to sadness but it's deeper, more meaningful than that. It pulls at your gut in a way that could bring you close to tears with a mere thought of that which you seek. Be strong my love, your time will come.

It's utterly magnetic when a character's rage is quiet and precise. When they don't scream and throw things but they just b r e a t h e and very very calmly aim their fury like an arrow shooting inexorably towards the target of their wrath. It captures my attention, I lean in close, I wait for the hit. It never disappoints.

"You know I never took into account a revolving door could turn into a weapon, but now that I think on it more...the possiblity is there." It's not something he could utilize in Mementos, sadly...unless some of those subway entrances replaced the turnstiles with them. "If we're talking two of them though...woof, that's a bit of a tall order. Only places I've ever seen more than two revolving doors are at government buildings."

The alluring temptation to keep spinning round and round, block off anyone else trying to get inside the building, and testing how long you can last before you vomit your lunch is all part of the experience.”
