Hippies, Witches, and Lobsters...oh my!
Let me tell you, Songwhale sure knows how to celebrate Halloween. Our CEO, Ty, first approached me about starting to plan our Halloween extravaganza back in early September. After seeing how excited he was already, there was no doubt in my mind that the Annual Songwhale Halloween party would be a blast.
This year we decided to team up with our great friends over at Eyeflow Internet Marketing. Together, we started off the the day with a scrumptious breakfast at Penny's Diner in the South Side.
After stuffing our faces, the 20 or so of us paraded down East Carson street in our costumes. I'm sure it was quite a sight seeing the Goonies, a lobster beanie babie, Tie(Ty)-Die, Top Gun pilot, a bumblebee, a witch, a hippie, and more hopping on a party bus.
The bus drove us to Janoski's Farm where we played in the petting zoo, picked some pumpkins, and enjoyed a hay ride. I think it really brought us all back to our childhoods.
Afterwards, we ended the day at Games N' At back in the South Side.
Numerous (and quite intense) games of air hockey, duck pin bowling, and pool were played.
All in all, Songwhale's Halloween Party was an awesome day. I really enjoyed being able to spend quality time with everyone outside of the office. Having days like this definitely brings everyone closer together, which I believe is key for a company to be successful. I'd like to call it a HALLOWIN.
