How to make your eyebrows extra full & fluffy with TWO brow gels

Should I use two brow gels? Can I even use two brow gels? The idea of two brow gels may sound a little scary at first. After all, who wants rock-hard eyebrows that feel uncomfortable and scratchy? Rather than envisioning crispy and uncomfortable brows, think of it this way: Apply one brow gel to add texture and volume, and another to really set those brows in place. Whilst fiber-fueled brow gels do provide some hold, it typically does not last as long as a tried-true-and-tested strong hold brow gel. Our recommended best volumizing brow gels provide amazing texture, but they do struggle to keep pesky brow hairs in place. Our clear brow gel recommendations are provided with both comfort and hold in mind so there are no crispy brows in sight.

One of the original brow gels to pioneer textured and fiber filled brow gels, gimme brow contains tiny fibers which cling to your existing brow hairs for a volumized effect. The tiny brush allows for ultimate precision, giving you the ability to add texture to every patch of your brows. It does provide some hold, but it can feel dry. Its hold effects typically don’t last long, especially in warm and humid climates.

This budget-friendly option rivals many of its high-end counterparts. With a sheer tint and buildable formula, this fiber brow gel provides fullness and volume within an instant. A slightly “wetter” formula than others, this formula contains a combination of waxes, gels, and clay, this may cause the formula to smudge, so setting with a clear gel is wise.

Okay so!! To do my own eyebrows I use mostly Anastasia Beverly Hills Products. I first fill in the front of my brows lightly with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer ( I prefer the Brow Definer to the Brow Wiz because I prefer the triangle shape of the definer for my brows. ) but, I fill in the front of my brows first because I like that fade effect of light to dark for my brows and I like very defined brows. So I use the pencil in the front to about the middle of my brows and I use more pressure as I move toward the tail of my brows, then I use a spoolie through my brows to blend the pencil strokes and to get the hairs back into place. Next, I take the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade in the shade chocolate and an angled brush and I take a little bit of product (it’s very easy to go overboard with pomade) and I basically draw a line on the bottom of my brows from where the pencil strokes ended and follow the shape of my brows. I repeat this step on the top of my brow and then fill in the rest of my brow with the pomade making them darkest at the end. And finally, I use the Benefit Cosmetics 24-HR Brow Setter Shaping & Setting Gel to set my brow hairs. It’s my favorite brow gel because it really does keep them in place like, not one hair will move all day, but it doesn’t make your brow hairs feel crispy like a lot of other brow gels I’ve tried. But on days where I’m not doing much makeup and/or I’m going for a more natural look I’ll just lightly run the Brow definer through my brows or use the Benefit Gimme Brow (and like wow talk about holy grail products) But brows come down to personal preference and style. You may prefer less defined and more feathery looking brows and for that let me direct you to this video by Kathleen Lights where she explains how to get feathery natural looking brows.
