Wow, what a question. Talk about ironic timing. He'd been having a difficult time as of late, examining his worldview and having to see where pieces fit. It was all so messed up... 

"Hm. Well. Kidnapping people, forcing them to fight your f-" He swore, "up battles for you, and not giving a sh-" He swore, anger, rage, tearing past his throat, "about who you- about anybody but your own twisted idea of how things should be. That's pretty high up on the list."

His eyes were fiery, body language tense. "As for why, I think that's pretty obvious."

"That depends. Are you referring to the organization, or the specific people involved in recent instances?" She had some bitter feelings towards Shield, as an organization, but Akela was part of Shield, and if it wasn't for her, she felt confident she'd still be under Hydra's control. Marco was part of Shield, and he hadn't given her a reason not to trust him, yet. And then there was Fury, and the crew he'd brought when she'd called for backup. While she had some things she needed to sort out with the director, and a part of her had stubbornly wanted to venture back on her own, the logical side of her knew she had made the right call in asking them for help.

What about Akela? There's been traitors in SHIELD before after all...

Sadie contemplated the question for a few moments, features fairly blank. “I don’t know.” She felt like he was. She wanted to believe he’d been telling the truth. “He reminded me of a major weak point of his, one I know as true, and that’s not a strategy Hydra would encourage.” She’d had him under duress of sorts, though. People would say all kinds of things when backed into a corner. “I don’t think he’s currently with them, but Hydra agents are chameleons. It’s hard to know for sure. It would take time to build any sense of trust between them. Second may have trusted him to have her back, back in Hydra, she couldn’t bring up a clear recollection at the current moment, but that had been years ago. They were different people, now.

When it came to Akela, her prior hesitation receded. “She risked her life to save me. I trust her as much as I’m capable of, at the moment.”

"I mean, Akela probably. She wouldn't be happy with me, 'less it was cause of something that wasn't actually my fault, but... I feel like I could trust her to come."

Haha, nah I'm being pure trouble, driving Clint up the wall with heavy metal music, turned the apartment into a snail and penguin exhibit.

"I mean... I'd hope so. I don't think I mentioned that he's the guy I was scrapping with at school so I don't see why she'd have a problem with it." Rockland shrugged, cheeks getting a little rosy for some reason.

"Oh, super ninja spy, for sure." Rockland laughed, "Uh, I dunno. FBI? Boxing ring?" She got into fights a lot, or at least got hurt. It was a little nerve wracking, especially not knowing what was causing the injuries, but Rockland hid his concern with jokes. "Maybe as a zookeeper, working with some real cranky rhinos?" The teen grinned.
