ICCでucnvさんの展示を見てからグリッチがまた気になり始めた．現在の画像を考える上でとても大きな手がかりを示していると思う．ファイル形式に大きく影響するというか，その表現をファイル形式が規定しているところ．しかも，「正常」に見えている時よりもファイル形式のちがいが際立つというところが面白い．
そして，Kim Asendorfさんがファイル形式に着目して「ExtraFile」というものを作ってしまったのもとても興味深い．「ExtraFile」で用意されているファイル形式で保存すると「グリッチ」のようになる．でも，それは予め用意された形式での保存だから，グリッチが意味する「データの破損」とは異なり，「正当」な手順を踏んでいる感じがする．でも，画像は壊れたように見える．
「ファイル形式」から画像を眺めるというか，何を見ているのかいまいちよく分からない段階なんだけれども，これまであまり気にしなかった，気にすることができなかった部分をグリッチという手法や「ExtraFile」は見せている感じがする．
