Not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom with some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the day drawing near. Heb. 10:25 #bible #scripture #meeting #exhorting #lordsreturn #christians #church https://www.instagram.com/p/CPoagF7BDfT/?utm_medium=tumblr
On Judging Others
Does Jesus really say we are to never judge others?
“Who Says We Are Never To Judge Others …NOT Jesus!”
Another Patton Associates S-M-A-R-TBriefing™
Jesus commands we must not judge other Christians for their past or their motives (Matthew 7:1-2) but must judge their present behaviour in exhorting love! (1 Corinthians 5:11-13)
But a Follower of Jesus must NEVER judge the legal behavior of a non-believer in Jesus for either their past or present…

conversations with others.
I had this great conversation with a brother talking about the intentions of our words in conversations. Think about it when you meet up with your brothers and sisters at Church. What do you talk about? I remember I was encouraged when one brother asked how's your walk with God going, first time I ever heard of it. Often our conversations are filled with the thoughts that consume us most, which is normally what you spend most of your time with. Usually when someone ask "How have you been?" the normal response is "Good!," then you go on an talk about what you have been up to lately. Recently I've been replying with "Alright... How are you?" Usually just to avoid talking about myself, sounds depressing... But my brother pointed how that when people ask you about how you're going he always puts it into context with Jesus. "How are you going with Jesus?" His response will always be centred around how real Jesus has been in his life, what he's been learning and what he's been reading. Then he'll ask, "How is your walk with Jesus going?" making the conversation have a focus. I've been encouraged and wish to apply this train of thought to myself. This is such a healthy way to edify the Church through our conversations, it also helps me to think about my growth as a Christian more often and just aware of myself. It's also been a real challenge too.
