i don’t think these two were capable of being neutral about each other tbh, so maybe they would’ve been on-and-off like Stevie and Lindsey. but i also think there was too much genuine affection between John and Paul, and I doubt they’d be the type to have this type of discussion on a regular basis (especially because I doubt they’d ever work together again lol).
