My new boss was at a business thingy this week and somehow he managed to gravitate to exactly that snack table, where my ex-boss happened to stand and snack. He didn’t know the other was my ex-boss at that time though, but after a bit of chit-chat they somehow found out that they both know me.

It was like estranged parents meeting up to talk about their child.

okay, so last night's dream was a doozy.

 Ever since school let out for the summer I have been dreaming about being back at work teaching. This morning I dreamed I was back at work but i was a secretary. the principal was making me type in all the spreadsheets something having to do with student schedules. But I had left my glasses at home and I could barely see to work. on top of this, we were planning a big party for the students.  students were not there yet, they were coming in the afternoon for this party.   There was going to be a BMX /skateboarding demonstration and a live dj as well as drinks food and prizes

The longer I worked the more my eyes hurt until I could barely see anything at all and I had a headache, I tried to tell the principal this and he started quizzing me on the glaucoma meds I was taking but I could not remember which ones they were. Dj was interviewing jay-z and he kept using the f-word and I kept telling the principal we could not have this when students were coming in but he was not listening to me. There were prizes and food everywhere including these longneck bottles of multi-colored punch and each student would have their own bottle the bottles looked like gallon jugs with a long extended neck almost like something you would win at a carnival. 

 I was starting to get really sick and more kids were starting to arrive one kid was playing some kind of video game with the principal,  It was one of the old fashioned arcade games you had to sit inside, like a driving game.   He was also supposed to be part of the skateboarding demonstration.  I knew the kid by name he was one of our top performers but I don't remember who he was, I had not eaten and was trying to steal a Snickers bar from the cases of candy that were everywhere but all the bars were open or torn in half somehow.

I went back to the lounge and there were a lot of clothes shawls,  scarves barrettes all of them were really brightly colored and I was going to try to find one to put on and there were several teachers that were getting dressed there too all of them were female and all of them were much better looking than me.    I was looking at the barrettes and found some green ones but I was alrady wearing a scarf and they would not snap on.  

The kid that was playing the video game with the principal got up and I saw he only had one leg!!   then the teacher's aide staff started coming in and all of them only had torsos!!! Somehow they were mobile and they were walking in and they were very pretty and very made up and had had scars on but the bottom parts of their body were missing!!!    I decided then that I was going to ask the principal to go home because I was really feeling sick and it was right then that I realized that I could do that because he was my husband!!!

James Stephens Sues Ex-Boss After 'Pocket Dial' Costs Him His Job

A man who lost his job is suing his former boss for listening in on a conversation over the phone after the man accidentally “pocket-dialed” his boss.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that James Stephens was talking to his wife in 2016 about his boss, Georgia Subsequent Injury Trust Fund Director Mike Coan, who is a former state lawmaker.

At the time, Stephens didn’t realize that he had pocket-dialed Coan, who could hear the conversation.

Not liking what he had heard, Coan told Stephens he could resign or be fired.

Stephens has now filed a lawsuit, arguing that Coan knew he’d been inadvertently pocket-dialed, but continued to listen to the conversation, violating Stephens’ privacy.

Coan says he is immune from Georgia’s eavesdropping law because he was acting as a state employee.

Butternut Squash and Ginger Soup – Stick a ladel-ful in a pan. Sprinkle. Rolls. Smoked Salmon with Capers and Prawns – Not a clue. Wtf is a caper? Fold neatly with leafy I guess. Grilled Dates wrapped in cured bacon on a mild mustard & Suffolk cream sauce – Chuck under the grill. Sprinkle and tree. Twice Baked Goats Cheese Soufflé served on a marinated beetroot and walnut salad – 5 beetroot, drizzle with sauce, leafy and a couple of walnuts broken around the outside. Get Kingston to deal with the souffle. Tree and sprinkle. Red Lentil Paté served with Oatcakes and cucumber sauce – Sauce on plate, 2 pate on top. Oatcakes? Game Terrine served with Brown Toast and Cumberland Sauce – 2 slices of terrine (I think) on leafy with sauce somewhere. Pavlova with Suffolk Cream Banana and Mango Sauce – Pav on bottom, cover with whipped cream, slice banana, drizzle mango and give it syphilis. Crème Brulee – Sugar and attack with fire. Shaky shaky and syphilis. Fruit Compote served with Vanilla Ice Cream – I hate this stuff. In bowl, in microwave, dump icecream ontop. Maybe. Hot Sticky Toffee Pudding with custard or cream – Tiny portion of HST or feel the wrath of The Cock. Tbsp of sauce. Microwave ~45sec. Passion Fruit Mascarpone Cheese Cake – Slice, plate, make pretty. Vanilla, Chocolate or Bramfield Honey and ginger Ice Cream Served with Brandy Snaps – 2 scoops. Lime, Passion fruit or Blackcurrant Sorbet served with Brandy Snaps – 2 scoops.
