Girls from foster care should not be forced to share a bedroom with boys who identify as girls.
This is absolutely maddening and I wish the impacts of gender ideology on foster care got more coverage.
According to the Cass Report, foster kids make up only 0.67% of the general population but a whopping 25% of gender clinic referrals.
The impact of gender ideology on foster care is two-fold. First, it puts vulnerable teen girls at risk by housing them with teenage boys. Second, the gender affirmation model puts all foster kids at risk of being put on an Irreversible medical pathway. Children are being put on medications and fast tracked to surgeries without so much as considering their history of trauma and family dysfunction.
This is ridiculously unethical. It is an experiment on foster kids.
