EC turned around, looking down at the solar animatronic, who was sitting in a rather comfortable chair in their meeting space. “Excuse me?” he asked, his voice slightly less monotone. Filled with irritation.

“I could make you a body,” Solstice repeats. “If you wanted one.”

“I already have a body, Sun,” EC seethes. Solstice could hear it behind that robotic, flat tone.

“That’s Solstice to you,” the sunny animatronic responds nonchalantly. “But you could use a better body. I’ve made bodies for animatronics before. It’s not that hard.”

EC’s eyes on the screen of his face narrow with suspicion. “What’s in it for me?”

Solstice grins. “Oh. I can let you design it and look it over,” he says almost enthusiastically. “You should take up my offer. I don’t trust a lot of people and I only make things for people I can trust.”

“You trust me?” EC’s question is mocking, as if Solstice is stupid for putting trust in the bitter machine.

“I trust you enough,” He replies. “After all, we’re allies. Interdimensional allies. It only makes sense to help each other out.”

“You want something in return,” EC seethes.

“Yeah, you could say that,” Solstice chirps. “Just stay away from my so-called family. I am the only one allowed near them after I told you what I did.”

Without a response from the computer, Solstice grins. His voice is full of amusement. “Can you choose already?”
